The customer needed a cabin-style shed that could serve as a flexible space. A solid shell ready for interior finishing was the priority. The property in Plummer called for a structure that could be completed quickly and left ready for the owner to customize. We built a 10x20 standard gable cabin on site in one day. The exterior shell includes a front porch and floor insulation. The interior remains open for the customer to finish as needed. T1-11 siding and composition roofing form the main exterior. T1-11 stands up to moisture and temperature changes common in Benewah County. Composition roofing handles rain and snow effectively and requires little ongoing care. Floor insulation is important as it cannot be easily installed later by customer. The front porch creates a useful transition space and protects the entry. Both features make the cabin more practical for daily use once the interior is complete. The finished shell sits solid and weather-tight. It gives the customer a clean starting point for a custom cabin shed that can be finished on their own schedule.
The shell is complete so the customer can finish the inside.

The exterior walls, roof, floor, and porch are fully built and weather-tight. The interior framing is ready for insulation, electrical, and finishes of the owner’s choice. This approach lets the customer complete the space on their own timeline and budget.
Floor insulation reduces heat loss through the base of the structure. It is important to have us install it as it can be very difficult to install after the fact.
T1-11 siding holds up well against moisture and freeze-thaw cycles in Benewah County. It provides a durable exterior that stays stable over time. When installed correctly it needs only basic maintenance to remain effective.
Yes. The standard gable design and straightforward materials allow the full shell to go up in a single day when the site is prepared. Framing, siding, roofing, and the porch are completed in sequence without extending the schedule.
The porch protects the entry from rain and snow and gives a place to set items before stepping inside. It also creates a defined transition between outdoor space and the cabin interior. The feature makes daily use more convenient in all seasons.
